The Wastelands
Also known as The Forgotten, the Wastelands are the
dangerous and unprotected spaces in between cities. There is
nothing but dead and flat land out there. This makes it the
perfect place for mercenaries to gather. Occasionally you will
stumble upon “doom towns” and large craters in the earth from
nukes. Anything outside of the walls of The System’s cities could
be considered part of the Wastelands, so outer city zones where
the poor reside are victims to raids from mercs and bandits. Gangs
also run rampant.
People in the Forgotten do just about anything to survive, so
bounty hunting is common. Being mostly lawless, those who live in
the Wastelands have a sort of honor system, trusting that they
won’t mess with you if you don’t mess with them.
